Erdal Tantik studied from 2008 to 2013 MPE (Mechanical and Process Engineering) at Technische Universität Darmstadt in 2010. In 2014 he joined the Department of Computer Integrated Design (DiK) at TU Darmstadt

He works at the departments training center „Informationsverarbeitung im Maschinenbau“ (IiM) and supports the lecture “Information and communication technology in mechanical engineering” (IKT) and “Programming Languages and Techniques” (PST) since winter semester 2014/15.

He supported the lecture ”Interlinked Product Creation Processes" in 2015 and 2016.

IUNO – Nationales Referenzprojekt IT-Sicherheit in Industrie 4.0

The IUNO project aims for the development and standardization of secure connection interfaces between cyber-physical systems in the production process. 14 German Companies and 7 research institutes are working together, to identify potential targets and minimalize security risks. The main goal is to provide methods for secure processes, secure Information and secure services with secure connection. The methods are verified with demonstrators.
