Lennart Fischer M.Sc.

Lennart Fischer studied Mechanical and Process Engineering (MPE) at the Technical University of Darmstadt until September 2018, graduating with a Master of Science degree. During his Master's thesis he developed a method for integrating technology scouting into flexible production in cooperation with Daimler AG.

In November 2018 Lennart Fischer joined the Department of Computer Integrated Design (DiK) at Technische Universität Darmstadt as a research assistant and doctoral candidate.

Mr. Fischer works at the Information Processing in Mechanical Engineering Training Center (IiM) in the area of 3D-CAD training for students of the Mechanical and Process Engineering (MPE) bachelor's program. In the summer semester of 2019 and 2020 he will supervise the lecture on computer-aided design. In addition to the focus on 3D-CAD techniques (Siemens PLM Software NX 11), the lecture also teaches the basics of product management (Teamcenter 11) as well as the procedures for creating hand-drawn sketches and technical product documentation.

In the winter semester 2018/19, he also supervised the lecture “Virtual Product Development A” in the master's program. The course covers not only the basics of modern product data technology but also important CAx process chains.
