Lars Niemczik studied at Technische Universität Darmstadt until February 2018 and achieved the Master of Science degree. In his master thesis he developed algorithms for the derivation of feature-based model history to automate the CAD model generation of sheetmetal profiles with higher order bifurcations.
Since March 2018 he has been employed as a research associate at the Department of Computer Integrated Design (DiK).
Since March 2018 Mr. Niemczik works at the departments training center Informationsverarbeitung im Maschinenbau (IiM) as a team member of the 3D-CAD training group. As such he manages the course Computer Aided Design, which is part of the curriculum of the Bachelor of Science in Mechanical and Process Engineering. In this course first year students are taught the use of 3D-CAD-system Siemens NX as well as the PDM-system Teamcenter.
